Using my eco-vouchers

The official list is updated regularly. It includes the following categories, among others:

• Energy and water: energy-efficient appliances, light bulbs, insulation products and equipment that helps reduce water or energy consumption
• Sustainable mobility: bicycles, electric bicycles, electric scooters, accessories, repairs and maintenance, as well as certain types of public transport
• Organic and labelled products: organic food, cleaning products, cosmetics, textiles and furniture carrying a recognised label
• Reuse and repairs: second-hand products, repairs, rechargeable batteries, compost bins and products that help reduce waste
• Sustainable gardening: plants, seeds, compost, gardening tools and certain electrical equipment
• Sustainable tourism and leisure: accommodation and activities with a recognised environmental label
• Renewable energy equipment: solar panels, heat pumps, charging stations and related equipment

Important: the official list is updated regularly. A product sold in a store is not automatically eligible for payment with eco-vouchers. Always check the product, label or service before making your purchase.

You can use your eco-vouchers at merchants affiliated with the Monizze network, including:

• Supermarkets and organic shops
• DIY, electronics and garden stores
• Bicycle and sustainable mobility stores
• Second-hand shops
• Repair services
• Hotels, campsites and accommodation with an environmental label

Two conditions must be met: to pay with your eco-vouchers, the product or service must be eligible according to the official list and the merchant must be affiliated with the Monizze network and accept eco-vouchers. The fact that a product is eligible does not automatically mean that you can buy it in every store.

Check where you can use your eco-vouchers:

• Find a physical store
• Find an online merchant

You can pay with your Monizze card as follows:

1. Check that the merchant accepts Monizze eco-vouchers.
2. If necessary, ask which products can be paid for with eco-vouchers.
3. Tell the cashier that you want to pay with your eco-vouchers.
4. Use your Monizze card or Monizze Pay if mobile payments are activated.
5. If the amount exceeds your available balance, pay the difference with another payment method, if the merchant allows it.

The merchant must select the correct voucher type on the payment terminal. A payment made with eco-vouchers cannot be refunded in cash, and you cannot request cash change.

You can also use your eco-vouchers on the websites of Monizze’s affiliated partners.

1. Check the online partner network.
2. Add your products to your shopping basket.
3. Select Monizze as your payment method.
4. Log in with your Monizze credentials.
5. Confirm your payment.

Only eligible products and services can be paid for with eco-vouchers.

How long are eco-vouchers valid?

Eco-vouchers are valid for 24 months from the date of issue. Your oldest eco-vouchers are used first. You can check the expiry date of your eco-vouchers in the Monizze app or on MyMonizze. We recommend checking your balance and expiry dates regularly so you can use your eco-vouchers before they expire. You may also receive a notification when a voucher is about to expire, depending on your account settings.

How can I check my balance?

You can check your balance and transactions in the Monizze app or on MyMonizze.

Can I buy any organic product?

No. The product must be included on the official list and meet the applicable conditions, such as labelling or certification requirements.

Can I use eco-vouchers for second-hand purchases?

Yes, certain second-hand products and reuse or repair services are eligible. Always check the official list and confirm that the merchant accepts eco-vouchers.

Can I exchange my eco-vouchers for cash?

No. Eco-vouchers must be used to purchase eligible products or services. They cannot be exchanged for cash, either in full or in part.

Why was my payment declined?

Check the following:

• The merchant accepts Monizze eco-vouchers
• The product or service is eligible
• You have enough balance
• Your eco-vouchers have not expired
• The merchant selected payment by eco-vouchers on the payment terminal

If the problem persists, ask the merchant to check the selected payment type or contact Monizze.
