In October, our IT & Innovation team hit pause from their daily work for three days to focus, create, reinvent.
Guided by your feedback, developers, designers, testers and product experts worked together to turn ideas into working prototypes, shaping the next generation of Monizze tools.
8 projects, 3 days, 1 mission: levelling up your experience
Over 72 hours, 8 teams brought new ideas to life. Some enhancing the existing Monizze ecosystem, others exploring new horizons.
After intense days of coding, testing, and pitching, the jury selected three winners:
- Best tech innovation
 - Best business impact
 - The big winner: best tech and business project

And one thing mattered above all: how ready each project was to take off.
The big winner: freelancer hub in the App
This project will transform the way self-employed professionals use our services.
It integrates customer features directly into the mobile app.
Once live, freelancers will be able to manage automatic and manual orders, invoices and payments, all from their mobile app. No need to switch to the Client Area anymore.
We’re unifying actions on one platform to deliver a simpler, all-in-one user experience.
“We want the app to become the all-in-one platform for freelancers. Everything happens in one place: no double logins, no switching platforms. They’ve told us it’s confusing, so we’re fixing it. One smooth experience from start to finish,” explains Yann from the product team.

Tech prize: Post-transaction push notifications in the app
A simple idea, powerful in practice.
The team built a real-time notification system that instantly alerts users after a Monizze transaction, online or offline.
Beyond improving transparency and engagement, this feature opens doors to personalized communications and richer interactions with our beneficiaries.
“Our users want to keep an instant overview of their transactions,” explains Sampson from the Product team. “So now we will be sending push notifications via the app that instantly confirms a successful transaction or explains why it didn’t go through. It’s proactive and clearer for everyone.”

Business prize: flexible remuneration simulator
Monizze is innovating to help HRs make smarter reward decisions.
This prototype gives HR professionals and employers instant insight into the real cost and net value of various compensation options.
By visualizing the impact of benefits like meal vouchers, eco vouchers, flex or mobility budgets, the simulator empowers decision-makers to design reward strategies that are both fair and fiscally smart.
A concrete step toward more transparent and responsible compensation.
“Many employers tell us that compensation can feel like a black box,” explains Christophe from the Product team. “This simulator changes that. It brings full transparency on the real cost and net value of each benefit, and shows how Monizze can support you in shaping smarter reward decisions.”
From prototypes to production
The Hackathon may last only three days, but its impact goes far beyond.
Several of these projects are already on track to be integrated into the Monizze ecosystem, proof that innovation at Monizze doesn’t stop at ideas, but translates into real value for our users.
As Jean-Louis Van Houwe, CEO of Monizze, said:
“These three days proved we are really a tech company, driven by customer impact and creativity.”
Sébastien Couturiaux, CTIO, added:
“We worked without hassle, skipped processes, and focused on creativity and collaboration. That’s how innovation should feel.”
Teamwork, curiosity, and customer obsession
More than a tech challenge, the Hackathon was a reminder of what drives us: teamwork, curiosity, and our customers.
A big thank you to all Monizzers for their energy and hard work, and to Guillaume and Tuğçe, who made this edition a success from start to finish.
