Are donations made with solidarity vouchers tax-deductible?
Donations made via the solidarity voucher are tax-deductible. You will receive all necessary documentation.
How does the solidarity voucher work?
1. Set a (monthly or unique) donation budget per employee in your Monizze Client Area. 2. You will receive an email with two invoices: one from the King Baudouin Foundation for the donation budget, and one from Monizze for the management fees. Don’t forget to pay both invoices. Without payment, your order cannot be processed. Please note this step may take 7 to 15 days. 3. Once the payments are confirmed, your employees will receive an invitation to choose the non-profit they wish to support in the Monizze app. 4. Monizze and Better then transfer the donations securely to the selected non-profits.
Can donations made with solidarity vouchers be automated?
On the employer side: yes, you can automate your Solidarity Voucher orders directly in your Client Area (for monthly ordering). On the employee side: they will be invited to allocate their solidarity voucher to the non-profit of their choice. Normally, every month, unless otherwise configured by the employer. If no choice is made after 30 days, the budget is allocated to the non-profit of the month, selected from Better’s vetted portfolio. Employees can also choose to support the same non-profit every month automatically.
Should I already be a Monizze client to order solidarity vouchers?
For now, yes. Only our existing clients (already ordering another type of voucher) can order solidarity vouchers.
