Monizze markets the Consumption Voucher
The Consumption Voucher has just been introduced by the government to stimulate the Belgian economy and boost workers’ purchasing power. It supports the recovery of the sectors that have been hit the hardest by the coronavirus crisis. These are the hotel, restaurant and café, sport and culture sectors as well as small shops which had to shut for at least a month.
Companies may grant their employees up to €300 in Consumption Vouchers. This is a way for them to reward their employees for their commitment over recent months or give them a small financial boost. The Consumption Voucher is 100% deductible and exempt from social contributions. The voucher is valid until 7 June 2021.
Monizze is marketing this Consumption Voucher and has chosen an electronic version which is simpler and quicker to put in place. Unlike the paper format, employers do not have to distribute or send Consumption Vouchers. Consumption Vouchers are directly added to existing Monizze accounts, which already include the other extra-legal benefits: Meal, Eco, Gift and Activ’. The electronic version also limits the risk of infection from handling.
